Mark Nadim and Coldwell Banker
I am an engineer by training, I started investing
in income producing properties in 1982. These properties appreciated
in value over the years, and the income they generated increased as well, where they started covering
the expenses and producing extra income helping me achieve my financial independence.
I leveraged some of my properties to get cash to purchase more income properties,
the extra mortgage payments were covered by income generated by these properties .
I basically leveraged my engineering career early in the process, and then leveraged my
properties later as a tool to help me invest in real estate.
My early investments were in residential properties, I then consolidated my properties, and
purchased a commercial retail property, which gave me a good knowledge on what to look for
when investing in either residential, or commercial retail properties.
